Based on your needs we offer skin rejuvenation treatments such as Thermage and Omnilux lights, wrinkle fillers such as RADIESSE® and JUVÉDERM®, teeth whitening and facial resurfacing. Each visit to BizMed Spa will leave you looking and feeling refreshed, renewed, and rejuvenated.

Thermage

Thermage is a non-invasive procedure that can help tighten and contour your skin without injections or surgery. Thermage employs radiofrequency technology to heat the deep layers of skin while keeping the top layer cool and undamaged. The heat will stimulate your body's natural collagen production, which softens and smooths skins while making it appear tighter and younger, Thermage can be used on facial wrinkles and loose skin, as well as on other areas of the body prone to skin sagging such as the stomach, buttocks, knees, legs, arms, and hands. This is the only treatment appropriate for body-shaping that BizMed Spa offers. You should begin to see results within days of treatment, and they will continually improve over the months following treatment and last up to several years.

LUX1540-FRACTIONAL LASER

LUX 1540 Fractional Laser is a dye-free skin resurfacing treatment designed to reduce the appearance of skin imperfections such as lines, wrinkles, acne scars, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, and stretch marks. The LUX 1540 delivers uniform microbeams of light into the deep layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production and healing processes that reduce damage and resurface the top layer of skin. No dye or extensive cooling process is required, so LUX 1540 treatments are more efficient and effective than other laser resurfacing alternatives. LUX 1540 treats the top layer of skin directly, as opposed to other laser treatments such as LUX V that target subsurface glands. As with all laser treatments, there is some minimal risk of swelling and redness after treatment. Sunscreen of minimum SPF 30 should always be used after laser treatments.

LUXV-ACNE TREATMENT

LUX V is an aesthetic laser treatment that targets overactive sebaceous glands that cause acne, resulting in a dramatic reduction in acne lesions over the course of several treatment sessions. The laser emits a wavelength of light that alters the structure of the targeted sebaceous glands and reduces acne-causing oil production without injuring the top layer of skin. LUX V treatments take about 20 minutes depending on the location and amount of areas treated, and results should last up to 6 months. LUX V laser treatment differs from LUX1540 resurfacing treatment in that it does not affect or damage the top layer of skin, but rather targets deep glands. As with all laser treatments, there is some minimal risk of swelling and redness after treatment. Sunscreen of minimum SPF 30 should always be used after laser treatments.

OMNILUX LIGHTS

Omnilux™ is a natural light therapy system that stimulates the body’s own cellular mechanisms to repair and revive skin. BizMed Spa offers three Omnilux™therapy options, and each emits a different narrow band of visible light to treat specific skin conditions:

• Omnilux blue™targets light-activated compounds in the skin that kill acne-causing bacteria
• Omnilux revive™activates cellular mechanisms responsible for tissue repair and regeneration, and helps to reduce bruising and inflammation
• Omnilux plus™stimulates collagen production to rejuvenate skin and heal wounds

Your BizMed Spa clinician can shape and contour the illumination to specific treatment areas, so each are receives the required therapy dose. All three light therapies can be used in conjunction to achieve the best overall results, and can all be used safely with other skin rejuvenation treatments such as BOTOX® Cosmetic, RADIESSE®, and JUVÉDERM®.

BOTOX

BOTOX® Cosmetic is an injection administered to muscles in the forehead to reduce the appearance of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows. BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription medication that blocks nerve impulses to the muscles between the brows, reducing wrinkle-causing muscle activity. Injections can be completed in about 10 minutes, and you should begin to see improvement in frown lines within days that may last up to 4 months. BOTOX® Cosmetic differs from injectable fillers such as RADIESSE® and JUVÉDERM® in that it targets muscles to smooth skin rather than filling wrinkles with an external substance. Due to the blocking effect of BOTOX® Cosmetic on nerve impulses, patients who have multiple sclerosis, bleeding disorders, are pregnant or nursing, or take certain medications should not have BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments.

BEYOND WHITE TEETH WHITENING

BEYOND™ WhiteSpa can whiten your teeth by removing surface stains and also those deep inside your teeth. Your BizMed Spa professional will use a 6% hydrogen peroxide gel solution and an accelerating halogen light to brighten your teeth between 5 and 14 shades in just 1 hour. Results can last for up to 2 years depending on your diet and lifestyle, and touch-up treatments are available.

RADIESSE

RADIESSE® is an injectable wrinkle filler that instantly corrects wrinkles and stimulates your body’s natural collagen production to make your skin look younger, smoother, and more vibrant. Collagen gives skin volume, flexibility, and strength, but it breaks down as we age and skin begins to look loose and lined. RADIESSE® stimulates the production of new collagen to reduce the appearance of current lines and wrinkles and prevent more. Your BizMed Spa healthcare professional can administer the injection in about 15 minutes to help repair smile lines, marionette lines, and other lower-facial wrinkles. RADIESSE® is made from a calcium hydroxyapatite product (similar to the material found in bone), and results can last for more than 12 months. RADIESSE® differs from BizMed Spa’s other filler option, JUVÉDERM®, in that it is best suited to filling deeper creases. Because it is a firmer consistency than JUVÉDERM®, it is ideal for cheek, nose, jawline, and midface areas, but not suitable for lip treatments.

JUVEDERM

JUVÉDERM® is a smooth gel injected under the skin to correct the appearance of moderate to severe lines and wrinkles. The gel is made from hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring compound that helps volumize and hydrate the skin cells. Because the gel is smooth, not granular like some other hyaluronic acid fillers, JUVÉDERM® will help restore the natural look and feel of your skin. Injections can be completed in about 15 minutes, and you should see rapid improvement in the areas treated. JUVÉDERM® is FDA approved for deep dermis injection to correct laugh lines, smiles lines, and other facial wrinkles and folds for up to 1 year. Because JUVÉDERM® has such a smooth consistency, it can be used in lips, although results may not last as long as in other areas of the face. JUVÉDERM® is the first hyaluronic acid filler proven to be safe and effective for persons of color.

LATISSE

LATISSE® is the only prescription treatment approved by the FDA to grow eyelashes longer, fuller, and darker. Although the exact mechanisms are not known, it is believed that LATISSE® works both by lengthening the hair growth cycle and increasing the number of hairs created in the growth phase. After meeting with a BizMedSpa healthcare professional and receiving a prescription, you will apply LATISSE® at home once a day to the base of your upper eyelashes for 12 to 16 weeks to see results. LATISSE® should never be applied to the lower eyelid. After maximum results are achieved, you should continue to use LATISSE® on a maintenance cycle several times a week to maintain long, full, dark lashes.
